We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented In-House Accountant to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily income processing, accounts payable and receivable, fund distribution, payroll processing, and various tax-related activities. The In-House Accountant will collaborate closely with the auditor, leadership team and board members to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making. who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in financial management and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

what you'll be doing

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for N4 Studio, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Cashflow Management: Monitor cashflow trends, prepare cashflow forecasts, and ensure appropriate liquidity levels to support operational needs.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant tax regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements. Provide analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Payroll Processing: Coordinate with HR to accurately process payroll, including tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and other related tasks.
  • Invoice Management: Prepare and send client invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding payments, invoices, and account inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing financial information for tax filings and collaborate with external accountants as needed.
