who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field is prefered but not required.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in an agency or creative environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles and successful projects.
  • Excellent command of the English language and a flair for creative expression.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to integrate keywords seamlessly into copy.
  • Proficiency in editing and proofreading to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on copy effectively.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and their unique writing styles.

what you'll be doing

  1. Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and compelling copy for various marketing materials, including website content, product descriptions, email campaigns, and print collateral.
  2. Brand Consistency: Maintain and uphold brand voice and messaging consistency across all communication channels; work closely with the marketing team to understand brand guidelines and objectives.
  3. Creative Conceptualisation: Contribute innovative ideas and creative concepts for marketing campaigns, promotions, and storytelling initiatives; participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh and original content ideas.
  4. Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market competitors, and target audience preferences to inform content development; ensure accuracy and credibility of information presented in the copy.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and digital teams, to ensure alignment and cohesion in messaging; incorporate feedback from team members to refine and improve copy.
  6. Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently; prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality copy.
  7. Adaptability: Adapt writing style to suit different target audiences, industries, and communication channels; stay informed about industry trends and best practices in copywriting.
